Opening to the Light

This is an orchid, but it reminds me of an iris in the way its petals unfold. At least I know what THIS flower is! (or so the sign at the arboretum said...)

Thanks for visiting! I wish you a peaceful evening, and dreams of great beauty.

  4. Hi Cindy,

It was in a room marked "orchids," so I would be surprised if it were in there by mistake. I just assumed it WAS one because it was in the orchid room of the arboretum! If I'm wrong, I'll be upset that I've told everyone it's an orchid!

  8. The perspective offered through your orchid images reminds me that transformation is miraculous in each of us and is also ongoing. Part of my life focuses on running a photo company concerning very young children. Similar to nature photography, you can choose to capture a different part of the soul each time you peer into a lens. Images speak.
