Luscious

A composition made from luscious, cut Kiwi fruits. I'm always amazed at Nature's organization, and sometimes it gets in the way of prepping dinner! Image c Lynda Lehmann.

  1. I have to smile - everyday tasks take on a whole new light - and my family just sighs as I do the same thing!

  3. Ciao Lynda!
Optimal this look of the page!
The black background is well with the paintings!

  5. Hi Lynda, you are a true artist. :) "Hmm, I like the look of this cut Kiwi- I think I'll take a photo." :) I was picking out apples at the store yesterday- giant Red Delicious apples- and I was thinking the same thing! But I haven't gotten around to taking a photo yet- but I will. :)

  6. Lovely photo. I'm amazed at nature's organization, as well. Thistles & ferns have a fractal perfection to them that I could never hope to imitate in a painting.

  7. Hello Lynda,
Great photo....I think I'd be more inclined to find them with teeth marks in LOL...but that would spoil the effect!!
Have a wonderful week my dear friend,

  8. Ciao Lyn!
my last lyric tells about my death and tears..
Now I install the google translator.
Was you talking about the Calgata on the lake Bracciano near Rome?
    Nice dream!

  9. Kathy, my husband is beyond the casual sigh, most times, especially when he is hungry and I've taken time out to photograph his dinner half-made!

But I can't pass up a good salad photo op! :)

Somehow I KNEW you could relate!

  10. Janice and Hanna, thanks for stopping by. Hanna, I have wanted to change the page to black for a long time, and finally got to doing it!

  11. Helen, thank you! I love the work I just saw on your site, as well!

Daniel, I guess we camera-nuts are all the same! We just start seeing the world as art images. Which, of course, is not a bad thing!

  12. Hi Lana! I feel the same way. The mathematical aspect/perfection of fractals amazes me!

  13. Colin, it's so nice to see you! You have a wonderful week, too, and I'll be over for a visit soon... :)

  14. Hanna, I mean the Calgata that is a medieval city built on a volcanic mound/hill, where artists have their studios in the grottoes under the city! Just a dream for the future...

I'm glad you're putting on the translator! :)

  15. YUM!!! What a great Kiwi shot. Don't you love them!!! I can see how you would have trouble getting dinner to the table. You see art everywhere. :D

    Hugs, JJ

  16. Hey Lynda!

I absolutely love kiwis!!! Plus, as you so well said, they are gorgeous to the eye :)!

I see that you have changed the layout (of course I had been told before by Hanna; but I had to see it): it looks cool! Will you work more on it?

Cheers my darling (have a great week)!

  17. Max, I had thought for a long time that the photos and paintings would present better againt black, and another benefit is that the text is also easier to read. I tried to put a painting in the header, but didn't like how it looked. Sure I'll work on my page--within the miniscule range of my HTML abilties!

I haven't forgotten about your meme. I'll get there...

    Have a wonderful day, Max!

    Hugs and smiles to you.

  18. Lynda:

Wow! Those things look good enough to eat. I love Kiwi fruit, and I've been trying for years to get the Queen to try one, but she says they look too hairy!

    HAve a nice day.

  19. ha, ha, swubird, they are unreasonably hairy. 'tis true.
but if you let them ripen and cut them in half to eat with a teaspoon, they're delicious. i used to try to peel them, but it's too difficult...

i've heard of people who eat the hairy skin and all! i think that would make me ill. ugh.

    thanks for coming by!
