The Gentle and Forgotten Art of Blessings

An artist friend send this video to me on Facebook. I'm sure a lot of you may have already seen it.

I think that anyone who believes in a higher power can relate to it on some level. I don't take it as an admonition to believe in any particular conception of God or dogma, but only to open to the richness of the universe.

If you watch it, let me know what YOU think of it!

  1. As someone whose life was long-ruled by those kinds of thoughts & philosophies (& who was really BEAMING blessings & overt happiness for some years,) I can say that it doesn't really hold up over time. Sure, it's nice & it makes people feel good & I guess it has value in that sense. If it uplifts someone for a while, that's great, but it's all under the persitant law of cycles--nothing lasts forever. That's not to say that it won't roll around again, but to recognize the "good" we MUST acknowledge the "bad," as well. (I try to avoid using those terms, as they're far too relative, but I think they convey the point.)

  2. Very beautiful. I believe in oneness.

I believe there is one soul in the universe and we all share that one soul. I believe each of us is at the center of the universe and in that center we find the one soul.

I believe we can reincarnate in any point in the time line and we live in a future past.

I believe everything that was or is or will be is the one soul that is us.

  6. Lynda:

Funny you should show this particular video. A friend of mine just showed it to me a few days ago. I like the 1+1=1 bit. But my Queen and I have always believed that 2=1.

    Happy trails.

  11. Hey Lynda,

What a marvellous music!! I wonder if it is Enya (it sounds like her)...

Anyway, I loved the video; although I can't say that its text was news to me (I have been reading about these things since I was 17 years old)...but it is never too much to read about them :)! I think it is important to keep reminding people that difficulties are a lesson in life (and a growth tool as well).

"1 + 1 = 1" - isn't this true...at least it should be (cause in some relationships this is like in mathematics: false).

Lynda, thank you so much for this amazing video: you are a true gem :D!

    Have a great week, darling!

    Big Hug and cheers
