Don't really have an answer to vertical or horizontal option, because I think it all depends how you frame it or where you put it. These are really nice pieces of work, it is almost like the previous purple orchid is hiding behind. I'm still undecided. I most often like art in portrait layout, as it seems more visually dynamic to me. Except in the case of landscapes which of course, are usually better in a horizontal plane!

Peter - Thanks for your thoughtful comment. I think I will likely leave that corner the way it is. Although I never know what corner my fickle eye will turn in a week or two! :)Lynda Lehmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10914824862008453219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090919024696057090.post-38021717246103610562008-02-03T23:51:00.000-07:002008-02-03T23:51:00.000-07:00oooh thanks for posting this Lynda !!I love the la...oooh thanks for posting this Lynda !!
I love the landscape version but I have a real preference for the vertical format ...probably because I paint portraits LOL...
I love the colours and patterns either way ;)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08308898926898440376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090919024696057090.post-36069950617223255242008-02-03T00:48:00.000-07:002008-02-03T00:48:00.000-07:00hi, how's the exhibition going so far?hi, how's the exhibition going so far?kRiZcPEchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01567929276373859154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090919024696057090.post-41704165732827725982008-02-02T10:51:00.000-07:002008-02-02T10:51:00.000-07:00Hey Lynda, I love them both ways, they are cool ei...Hey Lynda, I love them both ways, they are cool either way, with my Moon shots the ones I get blown up to 36x24, I change them up when I hang them.Bob Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06582050569176409358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090919024696057090.post-14905912783125288112008-02-02T06:31:00.000-07:002008-02-02T06:31:00.000-07:00I see amoebas have a dance party.I see amoebas have a dance party.Nessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07779269921583131094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090919024696057090.post-9912522325378908132008-02-02T03:45:00.000-07:002008-02-02T03:45:00.000-07:00No monkey business, they are master pieces!! I like it the way it is.

As it appears to me to be a gateway that leads the observer (me) to think there is something behind the rest of the image.

As to what they (I) think is behind the image, is left to their (my)imagination.

Well, that's my two cents worth!

All the best!
PeterPeterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12097919387041286154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090919024696057090.post-71990654136044468162008-02-01T21:20:00.000-07:002008-02-01T21:20:00.000-07:00Horizontal for me - looks overbalanced the other w...Horizontal for me - looks overbalanced the other way :)Lozhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10513517402604501840noreply@blogger.com
