The wild woody plexus knows
its own emergence
and certain of the sun,
wills itself to life.
Wrinkled welter of the arbor
yields to efflorescent splendor,
and springs forth in joyful verdure
to grasp the azure sky.
****
In the tangle of the thicket,
intimations of Everything...
and in every inch, a World.
