Wreath of Hope
A festive and colorful orb to celebrate hope in this holiday season. As always and all year long, I hope and pray for peace and justice in the world, and the right to the pursuit of happiness for each human being--man and woman, adult and child.
The orb kind of clashes with my new layout, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

Buy My Art!
Another beautiful digital abstract Lynda. Love the colours - it indeed looks very much like a wreath for the holiday season.
ReplyDeleteI love the color combinations in this one, Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLynda this is very lovely. I love the colors and it definitely reminds me of the season. Oh I will be so glad when I get all of my PC problems fixed and I will work on some graphics too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for dropping by. I always love a visit from you.
And please please keep turning out these beautiful abstracts in digital. They are fabulous!!:-)
Your new layout is so lovely. The blue tones are very serene. I like it a lot!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Lynda:
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the new layout. And the new header looks wonderful. Well done.
I am with you. Peace.
Happy trails.
I like the orb composition very much. I have always been facinated by the "orb" art forms found throughout the history of art.
ReplyDeleteLynda - you have been creating some awfully beautiful digital images - your color choices are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteJANICE AND CARRIE, thanks!
ReplyDeleteJACKIE, I empathize with your frustration. Will you troubleshoot it yourself or get it worked on? I hope it's not time for a new PC! Hope you get to do some graphics soon. :) Hugs to ya and thanks for advertising on my blog!
CINDY and SWUBIRD, thanks! I always love to see you and I don't know what I'd do without my blogging friends. Peace and blessings to you both.
ReplyDeleteRONALD, I don't know much about orbs in the realm of art history, but somehow orbs and designs in-the-round have always held a sense of completeness for me. There's some psychological/perceptual thing going on there, but I wouldn't know how to define it. Orbs and abstracts interest me because they usually involve a degree of ambiguity, which I find intriguing. Plain old, "flat," one-dimensional "pictures" are less interesting (to me).
ReplyDeleteKathy, thank you very much! I love color and I know you do, too. The digital gives me a lot of leeway to delve into deep and saturated color.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you.
I we abandon hope, we don't have much left.
ReplyDeletebeautiful image Lynda :)
ReplyDeleteI don't think it clashes with your blog design as the pink compliments the grays ...
have a wonderful weekend and I will catch up with you by email this weekend...
pretty busy today as I have my Mum's birthday ;)
You must be having SO much fun doing these. I think I'd go nuts and never want to stop. See, I LOVE color and as a kid I was fascinated by kaleidoscopes. But this is just gorgeous. But then....EVERYTHING you do is gorgeous Lynda. It really is. It's that "elegant" thing, you know. :) Hugs to you beautiful soul! Robin :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful and looks like a face to me. :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! BTW, I found someone else in the blogosphere who does similar kinds of digital art. You might want to check their stuff out.
ReplyDelete(Although I love the new look, for some reason it takes my "lightning-fast" satellite connection forever to load your pages.)
A very Beautiful piece of art.
ReplyDeleteLynda:
ReplyDeleteThe Orb is fantastic. Beautiful. I love it.
Happy trails.
