At One and in Harmony: Perceptions from the Middle of the Lake

FLOW

I swam along the narrow, fertile strip of land between two islands today.
The water was tepid, and the whole world shone in shades of blue and green, reamed with streaming ribbons of silver, turning in the warmth of sunlight.
The wind whispered through the pines, carrying their perfume.  Golden grasses bowed to the breeze and I floated on my back,
breathing Earth, Water, Sky into my soul.
Buoyant with beauty, I'm still floating, hours later....

  1. I have to say, I MISS being able to get out on the water. To that end, I've even been perusing canoes, etc. for sale locally on Craigslist. I often worry about alligators, though. I mean, they can actually JUMP, y'know? *sigh*

  3. Oh MY!!! These are stupendous, glorious, unbelievable. I am THRILLED by them. I and now I know more than ever that we see water in the same way. Granted you have a better camera than mine. LOL! But we see MORE than water, we even see more than a reflection. We see another world. I can't wait to sort through my water photos to show you some of them. Even more, I can't wait to one day meet you!! I just love you and see so much of me in you. Huge hugs, Robin

  4. I forgot!!! Your words here are for me a tear jerk-er of beauty. I can't read them without a 1000 memories flooding my soul. I know all this so well, from my magical summers as a kid on Lake Pennesseewassee in Norway, ME. It makes me home sick. Love, Robin
