A recollection of the sweet, serene magic of the twilight hour on a placid lake--the whole world a panorama of brilliant color and the play of a gentle breeze echoing the motion of the water.

Awesome. The music accompanyment to the slide show with this one and buckskin is superb.

Hi KML, Sara, and Glorious Hats,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I'm compelled to paint the colors and textures of water (especially at dusk) again and again. If anyone else can take a moment's peace from my work, that's very gratifying!
I love the title Lynda :)
ReplyDeletethis painting....evokes a sense of tranquility with the harmonious colours and circular movement throughout.....
Thanks, Kim! My eye can take a lot of activity on a canvas and still perceive the harmony in it. I didn't know if any body else would find serenity in this image.
ReplyDeleteBut my husband likes it, so that's a good sign. Usually he doesn't like a painting with a lot of elements....
Wonderful picture! Coming from Norway with the long coast line, I've no problem seeing the symbol in this piece of art - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great week ahead :-)
